So of the 5 boys we have, all of my kids have loved trains but none quite as much as Gabe. He is in love with not just any trains but Thomas and all his friends (he can name each engine), so much he even has an accent like the characters on the Thomas shows, it is really quite adorable!
We have been blessed to be able to attend the upcoming show A Day Out With Thomas that will be coming to Flint, Michigan. We haven’t told Gabe yet because once we do I’m sure we will hear about it all day long, but when we do I am going to have to get a video of his face because it is going to be priceless, to say he will be excited will be an understatement 🙂
All the kids will love their first train ride on a real train!! They will also be able to enjoy the fun 19th century village activities they have available for the kids and learn some educational facts as well.
Read the official press release below for complete details about this event they have tons of great things going on for kids, and I’m sure we will spend many hours there, and probably have a hard time getting Gabe to leave!! I will be posting all of the fun we had after we visit!

About Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad
There is so much to do in the Village and so many people to talk with! The cider maker is pressing apples while the miller grinds grains into flour at the water-powered grist mill. The blacksmith is hammering hot iron into horseshoes and fireplace tools. Each villager has an important role – from barber to broom maker, doctor to seamstress, homemaker to cleric. And each helps keep this 19th century village running smoothly.
Be sure to catch the delightful 20 shows in the Opera House too! Show admission is included with your ticket to the Village.
