The rest of this week, the weekend, and next week is going to be very busy for us, and I wanted to let you all know that I won’t be on the internet much at all. We have a doctors appointment today 2 1/2 hours away from us, for me to meet with the cardiologist at U of M, and then early tomorrow morning we are leaving on a 6 hour road trip with 6 kids. My cousin is getting married this weekend in Iowa, so we are taking a road trip down there and staying Saturday night. On Sunday, not sure if we will go on a boat tour of the Mississippi river, or going to the Science Museum down there, I will share pictures when we get back. I will be sharing some pictures on Instagram along the way if you want to stay up to date!
I have to be honest we haven’t taken all of the kids of more then 1 1/2 hour road trip, and I’m not sure how well Gabe is going to do since and hour car ride with him is miserable 🙂 Because Ethan often travels with us for the 2 1/2 hour car ride to my many doctors appointments at the U of M about once a month he shouldn’t have any problems. We will be making a couple stops along the way at parks for the kids to get their energy out.
Jake will be starting vacation this weekend through next weekend, and we are planning on getting lots of things done around the house. We are pulling the stained carpet and then the very old damaged hardwood floors up from the living room and dining room, and putting in hardwood floors like we did in the bedrooms and hallway a while back. I am so excited because after 5 years of kids running around on our carpet it is not in great shape and having hardwood floors will be so much easier to keep clean with 6 kids 🙂 We also have a few spring projects to get done so there isn’t much time to relax during this vacation! I will share some pictures when we are done!
I have a couple reviews that will be going up but won’t be here to answer comments, emails, and such! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and week! See you all next weekend!
And a photo to leave you with…. See the blue and white bag in front of the fridge? That was the culprit a 25 pound bag of flour…..
