I have been amazed at the drawings he has done since using Artistic Pursuits, his drawing are showing so much more detail, he has started adding texture and depth to many different things now making his drawings look so much more realistic! I am very pleased with how well the program is laid out making it a program he can really do independently and still understand the concepts being taught. The program walks students through step by step how to do each of the lessons in such a complete way that he hasn’t needed help from me to do a single one of his lessons so far. He is excited to do art every day and there hasn’t been a week so far he hasn’t asked if it was OK for him to do a lesson on his day off from the class. He is learning real drawing techniques and how to apply them to be used on materials from his own environment, helping him apply the techniques to other drawings he makes for other classes. Overall I would highly recommend Artistic Pursuits to all parents/ teachers looking for any type art or drawing class for children/ students, they offer classes for many age levels on quite a few different techniques. This program is comparable to a real art class one you would pay a ton of money for, and is offered at just a fraction of the cost. The program is complete enough to be used as a full art curriculum or as a supplement to your current curriculum.
