Why Kids Need Hands-on Activities to Love (& Learn) Science

Thank you for sharing!!

Having kids who love all different activities and ways of learning is part of what keeps homeschooling interesting. I’m a huge fan of hands-on activities and this is why I make certain that we keep focusing on them when we’re learning and also having fun.

Since I know that hands-on learning is important for growth, creativity, and retention, it’s something that we strive for and work on each and every day. While our curriculum can vary a bit daily, it’s important that we create a science learning method that works well with multiple kids and a variety of learners.

I will say that once we discovered what BookShark was a way to combine visual learning with hands-on learning, I noticed a growth and excitement in my kids that had been missing in learning up to this point in time.

Why Kids Need Hands-on Activities to Love (& Learn) Science

Since I’ve been homeschooling for many years, I’ve discovered a lot of ways to incorporate a learning method that has worked out okay for multiple kids of multiple ages. But I have to admit that BookShark takes the cake.

Not only do they offer a structured curriculum for flexible families but they also create a framework that makes it super simple to teach as well.

Should you choose to use BookShark as your Science education and learning, you’ll get an amazing Instructors Guide that gives you 4 full days every week planned out, for a duration of 36 weeks long.

And just in case that doesn’t convince you…Here are a few other reasons why choosing BookShark for our literature-based Science learning! (Seriously, you’re not going to wait to sign up this program!)

Top Reasons for Choosing BookShark

  • All the lesson plans are created for you for the full year

Less work for you and more structure for the kids. Talk about an awesome arrangement!

As you can tell from the picture below, the kids are deep into learning all about the periodic table of elements and love learning in this hands-on and creative way.

  • The available Science activities are top notch

Their Science G Package is the one that we’re currently using and it’s amazing. It’s a combination of Chemistry, Physics, and Biology and there are included experiments to do almost every single week!

  • There’s literally no prep time needed on your part

If you’re new to homeschooling or have been doing it for years, you know that there is always some prep time involved to get things started and going. But not with BookShark.

Since they’ve done all the hard work for you, you literally don’t have to do anything. At all. As long as your child shows up is eager and ready to learn, they’re going to be geared up and having the time of their life.

And since we know that our kids love hands-on experiments, it was a no-brainer for us to give BookShark a try. Now that we’ve been using their program for a while, I can say that it’s given our kids a whole new interest in Science and learning.

It’s so wonderful to see them excited about exploring and wanting to learn more about theories and how to build and create things.

Are you wanting to have the same curiosity and confidence come from your child? If so, ordering BookShark is as simple as a click of a button!
