Thank you for sharing!!

We spent the entire day a couple Sundays ago making Christmas goodies, LOTS of different goodies!! Day 1 We started working at 11:00am and didn’t get everything done and cleaned up until 8:30 at night, Day 2 we worked for another 6 hours ! It was exhausting but we made lots of fun memories and had a great time together. We even had 1 of the neighbor girls helping us make cookies. We make homemade goodies every year to pass out to neighbors, family, friends, and of course some to eat for ourselves!

This year we had 3 new recipes that we tried using The Artful Winter Ebook, Chocolate Covered Pretzels, Candy Cane Lollipops, and Candy Cane Cookies. All 3 of the recipes turned out looking so festive, and were a great addition to our goodies this year!
This Year We made:
  • Magic Cookie Bars
  • Chocolate Chip Cookie Balls
  • Fudge
  • Holiday Rice Krispie Treats
  • Cut Out Cookies (frosted and decorated)
  • Oreo Cookie Balls
  • Rice Krispie Treats
  • Chocolate Covered Pretzels
  • Candy Cane Lollipops
  • Candy Cane Cookies
Because there are so many pictures I am splitting our Cookie Bonanza into 2 separate posts.

The first day we spent the entire day making goodies, in the morning Anthony helped me make a pot of Chili so we wouldn’t have to worry about dinner being made after making goodies all day.

The recipe for our Candy Cane Cookies came from The Artful Winter, just one of the many ideas we have tried from this ebook! The kids are rolling out their dough.

Each of Ethan’s classmates got one of the oreo cookie balls in a little Christmas goodie bag. It was a very simple recipe I found here, we used white chocolate baking squares for the white and red and green colored candies for the red and green cookie balls.

Each of the goodie bags for his classmates also contained a lollipop, and his teachers got a couple. The recipe for Candy Cane Lollipops can be found inside The Artful Winter Ebook.

These would also make a great Valentines Day treat as well!!

We made some Fudge.

Some rice krispie treats (I added green food coloring to the marshmallows for the green color) 1 batch with holiday sprinkles,

and 1 batch without sprinkles.

Making our Christmas goodies is always so much fun! Part 2 will be posted later in the week… Stay tuned…
