Once the weather gets cold around here we tend to stay inside the house more than normal. That means that I need to find different crafts and activities to keep the kids busy. One thing we love to do on a rainy day is a fun fall craft idea for kids. I just love the craft ideas and supplies that Oriental Trading Company offers.

Fall Craft idea For Kids
Head over to Oriental Trading Companies website for a TON more great craft ideas. Today I am just sharing with you one of the great ideas I found over on their website to do.
Materials Needed:
- Suncatcher Paint Kit or suncatcher paint pens
- Fall Suncatchers
- Wreath Ring
- Wire
- Fall Beads
- Ribbon in Fall Colors
We used these suncatcher paints from Oriental Trading company. They are brightly colored and great to use for suncatchers. The fall suncatchers they offer come in multiple designs. We used all 4 of them in our fall suncatchers.
This project is great for kids of all ages to do. We had kids as young as 4 able to do it with some help, and I worked on some as well. So even adults can do it!
We used the suncatcher bottles of paint. So we just added it to our paint pallets and used paintbrushes.Â
They only took a couple hours to dry. We also did realize it was best to fill each of the sections as full as possible. This made it so that when they dry they are all filled with color.
We mixed colors together to make brown for the suncatchers.
I just love how colorful and beautiful they turned out!
I really love how beautifully this project turned out! They are such a beautiful and colorful decoration to hang up around the house in the fall! Next year I will be doing some more great craft ideas that Oriental Trading Company has to offer.
