The kids absolutely go nuts for this dessert when I make it and can you blame them? It’s literally the perfect creamy dessert that can make a good day turned great immediately. Not only does this make the perfect after-dinner dessert but it’s great for birthdays, and weekend fun, too.

Once the summer months arrive, I’m always craving something nice and cool. I love that I can make a stunning (and delicious!) cake recipe like this in less than one hour of time. Don’t forget to drizzle on the chocolate syrup and a bit of the caramel syrup, too.
And since this simple dessert recipe makes 12 servings, it’s more than enough to feed and share with family and friends as well. I always plan on making two of these treats because I have a large family that loves it. The last thing that I want to do is run out of this tasty dish!
Have the kids join in on the fun as this simple ice cream cake is super fun to make as well! Family bonding in the kitchen is always a good idea.
Ice Cream Sandwich Cake
Makes: 12 servings
Prep time: 15 minutes
Freezing time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 22 ice cream sandwiches
- 1 16-ounce container whipped topping
- 1 cup mini M&Ms
- Chocolate syrup
- Caramel syrup
Instructions:
1. Place a layer of ice cream sandwiches in the bottom of a 9×13 dish. Cut sandwiches in half, if needed, to fill the entire pan.
2. Spread half the whipped topping over the top of the ice cream sandwich layer.
3. Drizzle chocolate and caramel syrup over the top of the whipped topping and sprinkle half the mini M&Ms on top.
4. Repeat with another layer of ice cream sandwiches and the remaining whipped topping.
Place the dish in the freezer to refreeze for at least 30 minutes.
5. When ready to serve, drizzle chocolate and caramel syrup over the top of the cake and sprinkle the remaining M&Ms on top.
6. Enjoy!!
