Mother Goose time

Over the years things have changed in our homeschool. Usually the changes are due to the fact that something isn’t working for one of the kids and we work to find another program works better for them. The last couple years things have changed because I have quite a few auto-immune diseases and cannot do the things that I once did with my kids.

When the kids were younger we always did lots of Montessori and hands on learning activities with them, I really feel that younger kids learn so much more when they do the hands on activities. Unfortunately, this has stopped with Gabe and he isn’t offered nearly as many hands on learning activities because I am most ofter sore or exhausted, trying to split my time between teaching 5 other kids, spending 9 hours at therapy weekly, or all of the other misc things we have going on each day.

So when I found Mother Good Time curriculum I was so very excited. Mother Goose Time, offers all the fun hands on learning in different monthly themes for your toddler, preschooler, or kindergartner. To make things even better not only do they plan everything out for you, but they also give you almost all the materials you need and package each of the monthly lessons in separate bags.

We were accepted to be part of the Mother Good TIme Ambassador team so you will start to see our weekly activities here on the blog. We will primarily be working through the program with Gabe (4 1/2), but Ethan (6) will be participating in some of the extra activities as well that I have extra materials on hand for.

This weeks post is going to give you a look into the monthly shipments, what a typical day using Mother Goose Time Curriculum will look like, and more. Next week you will get a look into how our first week went and some of the fun activities we did during the week.

When you sign up for Mother Goose time you will receive a monthly package in the mail with everything you need! It comes in a cute school bus box, which means as soon as the package comes your little one will know exactly what has come in the mail foe them. 1. […] This months Mother Goose Time topic is Friends and feelings. We have had a great time doing this unit, understanding feelings is something that Ethan struggles with daily so the more we work on it the better he will get. We use the Zones of Regulation to help keep his feelings at a manageable levels to get him through out the day. If you are interested in seeing what is included with the monthly shipments from Mother Goose Time stop over and see our first introductory post. […]
