Solid Liquid Gas Unit ~ Solubility Of Substances

We have been studying about liquids for science and I found a great experiment for the older boys on solubility of substances, so in the after noon when it was just them, we tested different substances to see how soluble they were in water.
We used cornstarch, flour, baking soda, salt and flour as our substances for the experiment.
Here is the table all set up for the experiment. As you can see we had 5 testers for this homeschool science experiment.

I printed an experiment sheet from EduPlace.com for the boys to record their predictions, what they observed, and finally how soluble the substance was.
