This is the recipe I use for play dough, I have tried many, many different recipes, and I really feel this is the best one!!
- 2 cups of plain flour
- 1 Tbsp. of cooking oil
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2 cups of coloured water
- 1 cup of salt
- Place all of the ingredients in a medium size or large pan.
- Cook slowly on medium-high and stir it until the playdough thickens.
- It will start forming a ball and will not look watery any more.
- Be sure not to over cook, it will make it crumbly!

Here are 2 of the 4 colors. We added glitter to 2 of the colors, and scents to 3 of them, which were a BIG hit. We used blueberry cobbler, watermelon, and banana.
Gabe smelling play dough, every time he grabs the play dough now he sits and smells it!
Ethan walked around with play dough bags the whole day smelling it saying ahhhh.
