A sample of a couple of the pages found inside the ebook. The pages are set up with lots of full color pictures that guide you through step by step through the whole project and are easy to follow. The pictures found inside the book are very colorful and really just beautiful! The projects and recipes are unique, fun, and made using mostly items most parents have around the house anyway!
The first project we worked on was the Advent Calendar Chain and Potato Printing, making an Advent calendar for Truth In The Tinsel we started today. I got lots of the kids to help with this project, and we all had such a fun time putting them together. We made an Advent Calendar for Gabe and Ethan, and will be doing something else with the older kids.
Dustin sewed our circles together on the sewing machine for both of the calendars.
The circles all sewn together.
On top of the circles I put our Truth In The Tinsel clues for each day and glued them on in order so the boys can rip a circle off each day and then reveal our clue for Truth In The Tinsel.
Anthony helped glue our clues onto the circles.
Ethan stamping the gold crosses onto paper, this is the Potato Printing project found inside The Artful Winter ebook.

Serena helped Gabe work on his, he didn’t do them all, the girls finished them for him, but he made about a page of the stars by himself.

Here is all of our stamped crosses and some of the stars for the calendars.

All the crosses and stars cut out and ready to get the numbers glued on.
Ethan glued the numbers onto the stars for me.
The completed stars with numbers glued on the front.

Our finished Advent Calendars.

Ethan had to count all the numbers on his calendar many times after it was put up. He has been really looking forward to ripping the first day off!!

This is just 1 of the many fun ideas you will find in The Artful Winter. Next week I will be sharing the stained glass chains the older boys made with tissue paper, another one of the fun projects found inside The Artful Winter. There are so many wonderful ideas to keep your kids busy and of course decorate your house, this has become a book I will be using quite a bit this year and for many more years!
