We have had a great time this month learning all about Things That Go. We have learned so many things and we are looking forward to starting to work on our Sights and Sounds of Winter unit next month. This months bridge snacks were a delicious treat during our unit.
Every month Mother Goose Time includes a themed food idea. This months to go with our Things That Go theme we made bridge snacks. With these we work together the supplies and ingredients, follow the steps, and enjoy!
Gabe choose to use peanut butter for his bridge snacks.
They spread the peanut butter or cream cheese onto their pretzel rods.
These are the fruits that the kids could choose from, to put onto their bridges. The kids helped cut up the fruit too.
Ethan used cream cheese for his bridge, he also choose not to separate his graham crackers like the directions told us to so he could eat more fruit.
Ethan’s finished bridge snack.
Gabe’s finished bridge snacks.
Of course eating them was the most fun!
Gabe loved it so much he started dancing around the dining room while he was eating. This kid keep us laughing regularly with his personality 😉 !
When we did a things that go theme a few years back we made stop light cookies, you can head over to see how we made them.
